Using the Search Function

 

1. Enter the term or topic name you are looking for in the Search text box.
2. Then, click the Search button. All instances of the term or topic will be displayed as Search Results. The terms are ranked according to number of instances the term appears in each topic. You can sort the results by Rank (ascending or descending) or by Title (ascending or descending, alphabetically).
3. Click on the heading to sort by either of these methods.
4. Click on the Search Result entry to navigate to a topic referencing the searched text. Each occurrence of the searched text will be highlighted throughout each topic.

 

 

Enter the term in the text box located at the top of the screen view, as shown below. The searched term will appear as highlighted text only on the page you are viewing.

 

To remove the search highlighting, click the icon to the right of the magnifying glass.

 

The Search option also allows you to add frequent searches and the results produced to your Favorite Searches folder.

 

Click the magnifying glass near the Search button to add the search to your Favorites. You can view this folder by clicking on the Favorites tab.
